A freelance writer working for a local newspaper, Aaron Franklin recently transferred from Brown University after several disagreements and conflicting ideas with his professors, he is currently working on his Ph.D in Ancient Chinese Philosophy at U Penn. A 30-something father of three, he and his wife, Lauryn spend a lot of time giving back to the community by volunteering with homeless shelters and food banks. Before having their children, both Lauryn and Aaron spent time working with the Peace Corps in Malaysia helping build libraries for the local schools.
